Joy of the Northwoods??
The Joy of the Northwoods??
Thought some of you would like to see what it looked like this morning. One good thing about living here -- we also got to enjoy the 70 degree weather that was here a couple weeks ago.

Loon Platforms
Loon Patrol -- Hal and Joe went out on the lake on April 15 and did some work on the loon platform located at the south end of the lake. By placing posts at the corners and wrapping some chicken wire around the posts, the loons can nest but the opening on top is too small for eagles to land on the platform. Hopefully this will give the chicks a little bit of added protection.
